What is mentoring?

Mentoring is a partnership of two people, in which the reliable and experienced person acting as a mentor, who supports the other person, such as an employee in achieving its goals in order to fix the achieved performance and that the employee could obtained greater autonomy in managing their further development.

Mentoring is a co-operation:

  • aiming to inspire each other to look for new solutions,
  • providing support in the selected path of development,
  • use a variety of strategies to accelerate the achievement of success,
  • implementing in the planned series of talks.

What is mentoring?

  • helping someone to cross the path from the point where he is now to the point where he wants to be, and ... do it faster, more efficiently than he would do it himself,
  • helping someone to develop and apply the skills, knowledge, capabilities,
  • assist in achieving success through leadership, learning, motivation and being a champion.

The main purpose of mentoring is:

• achieving perfection of the employee’s actions,

• autonomy of the person.

Mentoring is not a technique. It is a method of achieving results.
