We had the opportunity to attend a remarkable lecture that addressed the cutting-edge frontiers of particle physics and astronomy, and the key role of major research infrastructures in advancing our fundamental understanding of the universe. It explored how groundbreaking scientific endeavors – from understanding dark matter to studying the early Universe – are not only pushing the boundaries of human knowledge, but also inevitably catalyzing technological innovation.
